Sales Manager [CAL-CSS-11052] - Full Time

Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base. Achieves the Budget and established forecast. Access appropriate decision makers and stake holders, promote and sell Mechatroniq’ products range and service offerings. Define and execute the Direct and Indirect Sales strategy.

Responsibilities

• Business plan and sales strategy development that ensures attainment ofcompany sales goals and profitability.

• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate newmarkets.

• Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

• Generate new business through direct prospecting.

• Increase Mechatroniq' visibility in Calgary with involvement in localbusiness activities and the community.

• Recruits, tests and hires Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.

Requirements (Education/Experience)

• University Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

• 3-5 years experience in business development.

• Highly professional presentation and public speaking skills.

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Control System Scientist [CAL-CSS-11051] - Contract

Demonstrates knowledge in developing algorithms for sensor fusion. Design, develop and test algorithms for analog and/or digital output sensors. Requires knowledge and understanding of measurement systems and theory. Creates models of dynamic systems. Creates and utilize Matlab for algorithm definition. Demonstrates effective communication skills, works well in a team and shows initiative. Superior documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Dynamic Controls - Demonstrates knowledge of feedback control systems theory and design.

• Algorithm Design - Demonstrates ability to design and create algorithms for control of dynamic systems.

• Mechanical Systems - Demonstrates knowledge of electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical systems.

• Electrical Hardware - Demonstrates ability to a basic understanding of sensors and MCU's.

• Familiar with Sensor Fusion Concepts.

• Software - Demonstrates knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, C, C++.

• Documentation Skills - Demonstrates ability to write fluently to describe algorithm design, theory and test results.

• Communication Skills - Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors.

• Teamwork - Considers and seeks out the impact of his/her actions within the team.

Requirements (Education/Experience)

• At least Master's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

• 3-5 years industrial experience in feedback control systems.

• 3-5 years experience in control algorithm design and development.

• 3-5 years knowledge of Matlab/Simulink/C/C++ required.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
